WHAT IS A TUMMY TUCK?
A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a surgical intervention performed by a skilled plastic surgeon to address various concerns related to the appearance of the abdomen. This procedure is not intended as a weight loss solution but rather as a means to refine and enhance the contours of the abdomen, particularly after significant weight loss, pregnancy, or natural aging.During a tummy tuck procedure, excess fat and skin are carefully excised, and the underlying abdominal muscles are tightened to create a firmer and more toned appearance. Circumferential Abdominoplasty (Extended Tummy Tuck):

Fleur-de-Lis Tummy Tuck:
- The fleur-de-lis tummy tuck is a specialized procedure reserved for individuals who have experienced substantial weight loss, typically 100 pounds or more. In this technique, the plastic surgeon creates both vertical and horizontal incisions in the abdominal region, forming a “T” shape reminiscent of a fleur-de-lis or lily flower.
